Year-round Mare Care
TS Ranch includes a mare barn with two (2) foaling stalls and
three (3) regular mare stalls. Each foaling stall, 12' x 24',
has a closed circuit camera and is monitored in the residence.
Each foaling stall contains a removable corner feeder, stall mats
with premium straw for foaling and then removed and replaced with
shavings, automatic waterer and a 24' x 30' run. The regular mare
stalls are 12' x 12' with a removable corner feeder, mats with
shavings, automatic waterer and a 12' x 30' run. All stalls are
cleaned twice each day.
Your mare and foal will be kept together in the large foaling
stall and run. They will then progress to turnout in the indoor
arena and then into a fenced, two-acre pasture. After weaning,
the choice is yours. Your young one can go into like-age general
population or be confined as you see fit. The mare can be accommodated
in the same manner.
